During the developmental process of this initiative, the members of the Organizing Team found ourselves with the difficulty of giving a name to the type of event we were creating.
We gave great importance to the idea of showing examples of Dreamers in Action, who are manifesting new ways of doing things, from a new mentality and our Program includes speakers who are notable for their experience in the sense.
At the same time, we considered it fundamental to offer a space for interaction in which the participants, inspired by the speakers and by our own experiences, would share, explore and create new proposals together.
Seminar? Conference? Symposium...? None of these options convinced us. Along the way we came across the term “Unconference”. This concept prioritizes the factor of promoting the participation of the conference-goers themselves, giving them an active role as protagonists who participate “peer-to-peer”, contributing to the Event in conditions of equality.
